Emerging Welsh trio Public Order deliver the bold and blistering debut single 'Feels Like Summer', out July 23rd through Tileyard Music

With a sound that looks to revive the early 90s Madchester era and bring it back for a new generation, emerging Welsh trio Public Order have now delivered their bold and blistering debut single ‘Feels Like Summer’.
Taking their cues from classic Britpop outfits throughout, ‘Feels Like Summer’ manages to maintain a fresh and contemporary direction through a lens of retro swagger. Coupling the use of indie-rock guitar hooks alongside a bright and danceable aesthetic, these guys are delivering a sound that stays true to its formative roots, while also looking for something new and distinctive to pursue.
Speaking about the new offering, they said, "Feels Like Summer is about not being a miserable bastard, life’s not that deep, stop making it deep and getting all in your feels about it. The tune's basically us giving ourselves a good talking to and saying 'get on with it cos it ‘Don’t get better than this’."
Emerging from Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales, Public Order have found themselves rekindling the spirit of what made the Madchester movement of the 90s such an iconic era in modern British music.
As close childhood friends, the trio spent much of their teenage years exploring a diverse array of musical interests. Citing early material from The Stone Roses and The Prodigy as influences, the group’s direction slowly morphed into a combination of two worlds; the dancefloor-filling rhythms of the electronic scene, and the bold and blistering sound of live guitars and drums, creating a sound that many have compared to the vibrant world of the Hacienda Nightclub in the 90s.
While their style is rooted in those hedonistic days of all night raves, they have begun to add a new flair and spin to their sound, delivering a raw yet upbeat texture that has grown over years of experimentation and adventurous musical pursuits.
